How you can support Thornage Hall

Thornage Hall Independent Living is commissioned by the local authorities to provide services for adults with learning disabilities. However we are reliant on donations and volunteers to provide those added extras that make Thornage Hall so special. For example donations have helped:

  • Purchasing sports and leisure equipment including football nets, archery set, yoga mats and more
  • Upgrade our Herb Garden allowing us to offer a larger variety of Thornage herbs for the wider community
  • Build additional seating outside of Day Services making the most of our summer lunches

Volunteers provide that extra level of support and bring a vibrancy to the community that really enables us to personalise the support we provide in our unique environment.

There are many ways to support Thornage Hall Independent Living. Each year, we host two major fundraising events: the Christmas Fair and the Summer Fair (Garden Fete), where we welcome the public to explore our estate, celebrate our community, and help raise vital funds for our work.
