Finance Assistant

Part time position - 3 days per week £18,746 pa pro rata

Thornage Hall Independent Living provides supported living accommodation in 5 houses located in the beautiful surroundings of the Thornage Hall estate.

We run a biodynamic farm which provides food for those living in our houses, as well as sales to local organic outlets. We have built on the success of the farm and have converted farm buildings into studios for our Day Services offering a range of craft, IT and artistic activity - greatly enriching the lives of those people with learning disabilities who have a thirst to develop new skills within a working environment.

We seek an appropriately qualified and experienced finance assistant to join our busy business support team. The successful candidate will report to our Director of Finance and Estates, taking responsibility for the day to day Finance and Facilities Administration.  

The successful candidate will be an exceptionally organised individual with proven knowledge and experience of using SAGE and Excel. Experience of working to tight deadlines and prioritising are essential. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are also essential as the post-holder will be required to work closely with colleagues across our charity and communicate effectively with tenants, family, service users and suppliers etc.

This is a new role and the successful candidate will be supported to help the role grow and develop and will be provided as part of the induction to familiarise you with the relevant systems.
