Thornage Hall Independent Living delivers a woodworking workshop two days per week to tenants and day service users. We have an exciting opportunity for an individual with not only excellent woodwork skills and experience but also an ability to work with the adults who use our services. The ideal candidate will preferably have experience of working with adults with learning disabilities, some experience of working in a teaching role and you will also possess good communication skills allowing you to inspire and enthuse our tenants and day service users to develop skills and achieve goals. Items created in the workshops are sold and contribute to the upkeep of the community.
Hours of work: Two days per week, 08:30 - 16:30
Salary: G1 £19,885 per annum (pro rata part-time) subject to qualifications and experience
The successful applicant will need to undergo a DBS check.
