Red Poll beef at Thornage  

 Here at Thornage we manage a small herd of Red Poll cattle, which enables us to be self-sufficient for all our beef requirements.

We are also able to offer to those wishing to try our beef a range of beef cuts in the form of a family beef pack. The pack contains:

2 x roasting joints

2 x twin packs of steaks

2 x 500gram packs of minced beef and

2 x 500 grams of stewing beef.

The cattle are raised using biodynamic methods and are a slow grown grass fed herd for more information on this please speak to Farm Manager Philip Culley.

We supply meat and vegetables from our farm to Morston Hall so if you would like to taste our produce as prepared by Michelin star chef Galton Blackiston in his fine dining restaurant, take a trip to Morston.  Here are some of the recipes Galton used at our Garden Fete.  They are simple to do and superb to eat!
