Independent Living Manager - temporary 12 months

We have a vacancy for an Independent Living Manager for 12 months.  You will lead and co-ordinate activities in the Houses and support adults with learning disabilities by taking a pro-active approach to creating an environment which promotes person centred planning and independent living.  You will also ensure that our tenants’ physical, spiritual, cultural and emotional needs are met and they are supported to have choice and control in their daily lives. In addition, you will have leadership skills and/or experience of staff or volunteer supervision and carrying out appraisals for your team. You must have an understanding of the principles of CQC together with an understanding of safeguarding issues relating to vulnerable adults along with basic cooking skills.  You must have a Level 3 qualification in health and social care or equivalent qualification.  Our job description/person specification will give you more information.
