Our Biodynamic Farm
Biodynamic farming is like a superhero approach to farming. It's all about treating the farm as one big team, where everything works together like a community. Instead of using a lot of chemicals, we focus on taking care of the soil and making it strong and healthy. We plant and harvest following the moon's phases to help grow our crops.
We care for our cattle, alpaca's and hens which requires a hardworking team to ensure everything operates smoothly. This is where our fantastic day service users come in by attending our Farm and Garden workshops. and lending a hand.

Our products
We take pride in providing you with high-quality, locally sourced products to meet your culinary needs. Our commitment to excellence extends to both our Meat Packs and Veg Boxes, ensuring you enjoy the finest ingredients while supporting Thornage Hall.
Meat Packs
Here at Thornage Hall a small herd of Red Poll cattle is managed enabling us to be self-sufficient for all our beef requirements. We are able to offer the following range of beef cuts:
1 x roasting joint
1 x twin pack of steaks
2 x 500g pack of minced beef
2 x 500g pack of stewing beef
Each pack = 3kg (frozen weight) and can be collected from us ready for your freezer.
Veg Boxes
Our Veg Boxes are a vibrant assortment of seasonal produce, thoughtfully selected by the garden team. Each box is a colourful medley of crisp greens, robust root vegetables and a variety of other seasonal delights that showcase the best of what our community has to offer.
Eggs, honey and flowers are also now available to be collected!
